Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A driver/ laborer for 2026 season Must have CDL A start time is 5:30am must be able to work long hours Must be able to chain bind equipment candidate will be responsible for transporting asphalt and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of various truck types, including dump trucks, and the ability to navigate different terrains while adhering to safety regulations. Duties
  • Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as asphalt, gravel, and concrete to designated locations.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and materials transported.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Perform minor maintenance on the truck as needed, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Qualifications
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving various types of trucks including dump trucks, hauling heavy equipment, chaining equipment.
  • Ability to load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations related to trucking operations.
