We are a leading home services provider and due to our continued growth we are looking for responsible and reliable individuals to serve as Dockman and Propane Delivery Driver. You will fill, repair, and load propane cylinders on propane delivery trucks. Additionally, you will deliver propane to commercial businesses using stake trucks and/or tank trucks. Our focus is on providing exceptional customer care first and foremost. You will be empowered to do what it takes to help each customer. Responsibilities:
As a Dockman, you will fill, maintain, repair and load propane cylinders. As you will be the key component in ensuring safe and prompt delivery to our customers, you must always follow safety company policies and procedures as well as federal regulations.
Specific qualifications include:
Ability to frequently (400+ per day) handle (pull, lift, use of dolly, etc.) cylinders weighing 56 lbs Ability to handle cylinders weighing up to 170 lbs Work in an outdoor environment in all seasons Filling, loading, and transporting propane cylinders Maintaining, repairing, and requalifying propane cylinders Safely operating all aspects of a delivery vehicle Perform billing procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and equipment while adhering to OSHA, State and Federal safety regulations Follow routine and time schedule Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
As a Dockman you will use your technical, safety, and physical skills to prepare cylinders for delivery to our customers. You will need to be detail-oriented as well as focused with a flexible and adaptable nature.
Specific qualifications include:
High School Diploma or Equivalent CTEP certified, preferred Valid CDL Class A or B Driver License with Tank and Hazmat endorsements (preferred) Ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy Must be reliable, diligent, dependable Ability to effectively utilize maps, locate addresses Propane experience a plus Possible nights, weekend work; potential overtime Clean driving record a must
