Full-Time Position Summary Elenbaas Hardwood Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Full-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring hardwood products are delivered safely and efficiently to customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities Safely operate company box trucks to transport hardwood flooring, lumber, and related materials to customers and job sites. Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently while ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage. Routinely lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds without assistance. Secure all loads properly to ensure safe transportation. Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departure and upon delivery. Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including delivery vehicles and warehouse areas. Assist with warehouse duties, including organizing inventory, loading customer pickups, and general material handling when deliveries are not scheduled. Follow all company safety policies, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and traffic laws. Provide courteous and professional customer service during every delivery. Qualifications Valid Michigan Chauffeur License required. Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical examination . Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with company drug-free workplace policies. Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safe driving practices. Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently while also contributing as a team member. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Physical Requirements Routinely lift, carry, push, and pull 100 pounds . Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, reaching, and walking. Ability to load and unload heavy hardwood materials throughout the workday. Ability to work in various weather conditions during deliveries. Ability to stand and perform physical labor for extended periods.
