This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, all while adhering to strict safety standards and regulations. As a CDL A Driver, you'll be the backbone of our logistics operation, moving goods seamlessly from distribution centers to our valued customers. Your expertise in truck driving and cargo handling will help keep our supply chain running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely deliveries across multiple locations Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or truck loading equipment, following proper safety procedures Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules and optimize travel time Transport refrigerated goods, hazardous materials (hazmat), or other specialized cargo such as tanker or flatbed freight in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and vehicle maintenance needs Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Valid CDL A license with clean driving record and recent experience in commercial truck driving Proven experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or hazardous materials transportation is preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT compliance, and safety protocols for dangerous goods Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks during loading/unloading processes Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight transportation Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence Join us as a CDL A Driver and be part of a team that values your skills while offering opportunities for growth in a fast-paced logistics environment.
