Job Description

We're hiring an experienced regional truck driver based out of West Michigan. Drivers are typically out 2-3 nights per week running consistent regional freight. CDL-A required. This is not a beginner position and the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with pneumatic tank and/or flatbed/conestoga.

Details:
Opportunity to earn more by taking additional loads when available (including weekends). Motivated drivers who want to run and maximize opportunities can significantly increase their earnings. % paid per load with additional pay for detention/layover Weekly settlements Vacation offered after one year of employment Holiday pay offered Insurance available; health, vision and dental Employee paid health insurance Performance bonuses given quarterly No tanker endorsement needed. Must be accountable, punctual and accepting of a changing schedule. Schedule may change based on freight and customer needs. Skills Required Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc..)
