About Cedar Crest Dairy Cedar Crest Dairy Inc is a family-owned business that has been serving the West Michigan community since 1978. Founded by brothers Rob and Rick Becker, Cedar Crest has grown from a small operation with one truck to a thriving company that supplies grocery stores, ice cream shops, and schools with high-quality dairy products. About the Role In this Seasonal Transport Driver role based out of Hudsonville, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods on a dedicated route to Indiana cross-dock locations, ensuring full compliance with all DOT regulations. This position requires experience pulling doubles, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and proper handling of equipment. This role is ideal for drivers who are comfortable working independently, managing a repeat route. Your work plays a key role in keeping product moving efficiently between facilities and supporting our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Safely operate a truck to deliver dairy products and dry goods to cross-dock in a timely and efficient manner Load and unload products as necessary (by hand or other means) ensure proper handling of items and place products neatly in a designated trailer/truck. Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition and monitor reefer temperatures to maintain product quality and safety. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Complete end-of-day check-ins accurately and without errors. Qualifications Valid CDL A and Doubles Certification required. High School Diploma (or equivalent) Proven experience as a truck driver, with CDL A experience. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Ability to work late evening shifts and stay until the job is completed (Start time 6pm until completed)
