Job Description
Job Summary we're looking for a dependable, professional driver to safely transport company trucks and equipment between job sites. This role focuses on safe, reliable vehicle operation so responsibilities would be operating the trucks, planning efficient routes, doing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues, keeping vehicles clean, fueled and ready for the next job, following traffic laws and company safety policies. Requirements would be to be 18 or over, have a valid driver's license with a clean record, Commercial driving experience preferred, especially with box trucks. Also, be reliable, punctual, safety focused and with strong communication skills. Benefits, $23 an hour starting pay, flexible scheduling, growth opportunities and a supportive team. . Responsibilities Safely operate moving trucks and trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques and proper cargo handling procedures. Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized delivery routes while maintaining awareness of traffic conditions and road hazards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues, load security, and compliance with hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various conditions Strong navigation skills using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all federal and state transportation laws Physical ability to load/unload freight manually when required; capable of lifting heavy cargo safely Join our team as a Driver to enjoy a dynamic work environment where your skills directly impact our success.
