Job Description

Sterling Sanitation is a family owned and operated waste removal company based in Chesterfield, Michigan. Our Roll Off Truck Drivers are expected to safely and efficiently transport waste and recyclables to the proper disposal facility. Driver Responsibilities Daily truck inspections at start and end of day, communicating issues to mechanics Operate truck safely, efficiently and in accordance with all traffic laws Conduct themselves properly with customers on site Job Requirements Ability to follow directions and read a map Must be able to operate a manual transmission Must be capable of performing manual labor, i.e. climbing container to level, climbing in and out of truck, lifting, opening and closing container tailgates Capable of working overtime and weekends. Good written and verbal communication skills Minimum Qualifications Legally able to work in the United States. Must be 21 years of age and have a valid CDL Class B or Class A Must have valid DOT medical card Clean driving record 3 years experience preferred Blue Cross, 401k, Paid holidays and vacations Starting pay will based on previous roll off driving experience
