Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and ensuring the safe transport of vehicles to designated locations. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair, as well as excellent conflict management skills to handle various situations on the road. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed models, to safely transport vehicles. Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing. Drive vehicles with manual transmissions and ensure proper handling during transport. Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery. Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding job status and any issues encountered. Handle customer interactions professionally, demonstrating strong conflict management skills. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on tow trucks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in loading and unloading vehicles using forklifts when necessary. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and appropriate endorsements. Background in automotive repair or mechanics is highly desirable. Familiarity with various types of vehicles and their operational systems. Experience in conflict management and customer service is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
