Job Description

As a CVO (Company Vehicle Operations) Test Driver, you will perform various driving services on vehicles according to customer specifications and other miscellaneous tasks or projects crucial for day-to-day operations.
Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $19 per hour based on experience.
Hours:
The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm.
Test Driver Responsibilities include:
Drive approved durability schedules in accordance with all established procedures. Prepare accurate driver's reports daily. Conduct safety inspections, perform specialized test procedures, and document findings on driver reports clearly and concisely. Test drive vehicles in a wide range of conditions including engine and transmission, durability, vehicle noise, vibration, and brake testing. Perform other related driving/vehicle preparation work such as shuttling, detailing, etc. Assist with garage work or other jobs as required. Follow all Stellantis policies and procedures. Act as a mentor to other drivers if assigned to do so. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Test Driver Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to operate a manual transmission. Test Driver Working Conditions and Physical Demands include: Drivers will drive or ride inside vehicles, so applicants must be okay sitting for most of the time. Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
