Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely Perform vehicle recovery towing using appropriate techniques to prevent damage during transport Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to ensure safety during transit Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics as needed to prepare vehicles for transport Load and unload vehicles carefully, adhering to safety procedures and mechanical knowledge of different vehicle types Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities, including logs, incident reports, and service records Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, offering assistance, and managing conflict professionally Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and experience in commercial truck driving Proven experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, or mechanic work with mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems Skilled in vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, including minor mechanical repairs and basic troubleshooting Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently under different conditions Knowledge of vehicle recovery towing techniques using tow trucks such as flatbeds or wheel-lift systems Strong customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations professionally This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to make a difference on the road.
