Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes. Your expertise in handling different trailer types, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to timely deliveries will ensure our customers receive exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills and attention to detail make a real impact. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and tractor with a flow-boy trailer in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Plan and follow efficient routes using Maps provided. Load and Unload material in a safe manner, whether that be aggregate to the plant or hot mix asphalt at a paving crew job site. Secure load properly every time by using your tarp. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and foreman and have a good attitude when receiving direction about the work at hand. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) Proven experience in commercial truck driving Proficiency in manual transmission operation Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols related to truck driving. Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks and the ability to work in different weather conditions. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
