In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, delivering goods to various locations, and ensuring timely, accurate load and unload processes. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will help us meet our delivery commitments with precision and professionalism. Duties Safely operate box trucks, across designated routes while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws Load and unload freight using proper techniques and equipment such as pallet jack & straps Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and performance Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel economy and vehicle condition Handle various types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or dump truck materials as required Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Experience Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with delivery driver experience involving freight transportation Hands-on experience with different truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or other loading tools Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to optimize delivery times clean driving record; endorsements for specific vehicle types (e.g., tanker or flatbed) are a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo handling Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your driving expertise makes a real difference!
