Job Description

  • FULL-TIME
TOW TRUCK DRIVER
  • Washtenaw County
  • We are looking for a reliable, experienced Tow Truck Driver for a full-time position serving Washtenaw County.
  • Position Details:
  • Location:
  • Washtenaw County, MI (Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Chelsea, etc.)
  • Schedule:
  • Full-Time
  • Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Pay:
  • Competitive
  • Based on experience + overtime
  • Responsibilities:
  • Respond to roadside assistance, accident recovery, breakdowns, lockouts, jump starts, and tire changes
  • Operate flatbed and wheel-lift tow trucks safely and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service in stressful situations
  • Secure vehicles properly following all safety procedures
  • Complete tow logs, condition reports, and payment paperwork
  • Communicate with dispatch and law enforcement
  • Keep truck clean, fueled, and do pre/post-trip inspections
  • Follow all DOT, state, and local traffic laws
  • Requirements:
  • Well-experienced or willing to be trained
  • Valid Michigan Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work
NIGHT SHIFT
  • Knowledge of Washtenaw County roads and surrounding areas
  • Chauffeur's license required
  • Able to pass background check and drug screen
  • Physically able to lift 75+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, day/night
  • Professional, customer-friendly attitude
  • No major violations
  • Preferred:
  • CDL A or B is a big plus
  • WreckMaster Certification
  • Light, medium, and heavy-duty experience
  • Own tools a plus
