Overview Join our dynamic team as a Local Class A Truck Driver and enjoy the stability of being home every night! You'll operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and more, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling Transport a variety of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized cargo with precision and care Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records throughout each shift Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed Ensure timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service at each stop, representing the company professionally Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for Class A vehicles Prior experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required; training available for qualified candidates Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus Delivery driver experience in freight transportation or similar roles demonstrating reliability and punctuality Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary Knowledge of route driving best practices along with safety protocols for commercial driving environments Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance checks and compliance with transportation regulations Embrace this opportunity to be part of a vibrant team that values your driving expertise!
