Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and straight trucks. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The route will be Bemidji to Duluth with 1 delivery on the return trip to our Bemidji dock. Sunday evening to Thursday evening approximately 7 hour shift. Responsibilities Drive and operate tractor-trailer units, Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Requirements Valid A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a good driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers and flatbeds. vehicles. Familiarity with load unloading procedures for various types of cargo. Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail for safety compliance and cargo integrity.
