Pilgrim Dry Cleaners is looking for a dependable and outgoing Fill-In Route Driver to join our Pickup & Delivery team. We're a locally owned and operated, third-generation family business that has been serving Twin Cities customers for more than 85 years. We have 20 local routes and are looking for someone who can step in when our regular drivers are off, help cover scheduled routes as needed, and provide consistent, friendly service to our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, interacting with people, and having a schedule that offers plenty of flexibility. You'll be representing Pilgrim every time you pull up to a customer's home or business, so we're looking for someone who is professional, personable, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

Fill in for regular route drivers across our local Twin Cities routes Pick up and deliver dry cleaning and laundry orders to residential and commercial customers Build positive relationships with customers through friendly, professional service Safely operate a company vehicle throughout your route Load and unload customer orders and keep them organized throughout the day Follow established routes, schedules, and delivery procedures Help provide consistent coverage so our customers receive their orders on time

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Friendly, outgoing personality and strong customer service skills Professional appearance and communication Comfortable driving throughout the Twin Cities Able to work independently and stay organized Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus, but not required The Schedule This position will be 10-15 day shifts per month, primarily covering days off and vacations for our regular route drivers, with some regularly scheduled routes available.
