Duties Safely operate single-axle and tandem axle hook-lift trucks. Load and unload roll-off containers efficiently using mechanical skills and knowledge of heavy equipment. Drive commercial vehicles over short and long distances while following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Assist with mechanical troubleshooting or minor repairs when necessary to keep equipment in optimal condition. Communicate effectively with the office, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups promptly. Requirements Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record; experience operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds or tractor-trailers is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot issues. Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles involving heavy lifting and load handling. Ability to operate commercial vehicles confidently in various weather and road conditions. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.
