Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling Deliver freight to various customer locations while maintaining schedule efficiency Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, including planning optimal paths for timely deliveries Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips Maintain accurate records of deliveries, load details, mileage logs, and inspection reports in compliance with company policies Skills Proven experience driving commercial vehicles with manual transmission in a local setting Strong knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety standards for CDL Class A drivers Excellent route planning skills with a focus on timely deliveries and customer satisfaction Physical ability to perform truck inspections Join us to drive your career forward in a role that values your skills and dedication.
