Job Description
Description Quality Test Driver Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network.
OVERVIEW
As part of the Quality department, this position will be responsible for the test driving of machines before final inspection. The successful candidate must demonstrate reliability, punctuality and ability to work effectively as part of a team.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive and operate compact-track loader or skid steer safely and follow all safety rules while achieving quality objectives.
- Keep daily records of serial numbers, metrics and measures, and other paperwork.
- Utilizes computer/tablet for data entry and machine parameters.
- Report on any problems, failures, and any other incidents verbally and in writing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/orExperience:
- Must have H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
- Skid Steer Loader or Track Loader experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven traits in dependability, initiative, energy, and proficiency in time management.
- Work history free of performance or attendance concerns.
- Valid driver's license.
