STG Logistics (Formally XPO) seeks a Local CDL A Truck Driver to support containerized freight operations in the transportation and warehousing network. In this home-daily role, you'll haul containers between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, accurate logs, and adherence to DOT and company safety standards. You'll work within a performance-driven, safety-first culture that values teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to grow your career in intermodal, drayage, and e-commerce logistics. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailers on local routes Transport containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and facilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Secure and verify freight, paperwork, and load integrity Communicate with dispatch for scheduling and routing Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery records Provide professional customer service at pick-up and delivery sites Required Skills CDL Class A driving Local and regional route navigation DOT and FMCSA compliance Electronic logging systems (ELD) Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Container and chassis handling Freight documentation and paperwork Time management and route planning Defensive driving and safety procedures Radio and dispatch communication
