Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive mechanics and have excellent driving skills. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance to employees in need. Your ability to manage conflicts and provide exceptional customer service will be essential in this role. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other types of towing equipment, to transport vehicles safely. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the tow truck is in good working condition. Respond promptly to calls for assistance Utilize automotive diagnostics skills to assess vehicle issues when necessary. Manage any conflicts or challenging situations with professionalism and courtesy. Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on the tow truck as needed. Drive safely and adhere to all traffic laws while transporting vehicles. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license is required. DOT Certification is a plus but is attainable. Prefer some experience in commercial driving, particularly with tow trucks, trucks and trailers similar vehicles. Some mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair principles.
