As a CDL A Trainee, you will receive hands-on guidance from experienced professionals, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of both practical driving skills and theoretical knowledge crucial in the logistics field. Responsibilities Complete a rigorous training program that covers all aspects of truck operation, safety regulations, and maintenance. Learn to navigate various routes effectively while complying with all federal and state regulations. Understand the loading and unloading process to ensure safety and integrity of merchandise. Maintain accurate driving logs and documentation as per company and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with distribution center staff and other drivers to improve delivery efficiency and overall services. Required Skills Ability to operate heavy vehicles and adapt to varying driving conditions. Strong communication and time management skills. High level of diligence and commitment to safety protocols. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and handling physical demands of loading and unloading.
