Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a FedEx Driver, where you'll be the vital link connecting packages to our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will operate box trucks and personal vehicles to deliver parcels efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be active, engaged, and instrumental in providing outstanding delivery experiences. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, personal vehicles, or commercial trucks to deliver packages along assigned routes. Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, promptly, and in accordance with company standards. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe driving practices during route driving. Interact professionally with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any delivery inquiries or concerns. Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch teams. Maintain vehicle safety by performing routine inspections, reporting issues promptly, and following safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience or commercial driving background. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely; comfortable with manual handling and moving heavy packages. Familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous. Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude. Strong organizational skills for route planning and time management; experience with mobile devices for navigation is preferred. Pay:
$950.00 - $1,100.00 per week
