A CDL OTR

Truck Driver - Reefer Kropf Express is a family-owned trucking company looking for an experienced, dependable Class A CDL driver for a long-haul reefer position. Our primary route runs between Missouri and California , with occasional stops in Colorado . We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and is comfortable working independently. This is a 1099 position with consistent work and home time most weekends. Schedule & Route Typically 5 days per week Primary route between Missouri and California Occasional stops in Colorado Home most weekends , depending on where you live and the week's route Applicants living along or near the regular route are encouraged to apply Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience preferred Clean driving record strongly preferred Experience with reefer/OTR hauling is a plus Must be comfortable driving a manual transmission Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently Loading & Unloading Most loads do not require the driver to load or unload. Some Colorado stops require the driver to handle loading and unloading. Bonus Qualifications Mechanical experience is a plus, but not required . We especially value drivers who have: Basic knowledge of semi-truck and trailer maintenance Ability to perform minor repairs Experience with routine/preventative maintenance Not mechanically inclined? That's not a deal breaker. We're primarily looking for a reliable and experienced driver. Paid Time Off Paid time off is earned with continued service: After 4 months: 3 paid days After 1 year: 1 week paid per year After 2 years: 2 weeks paid per year Equipment 2009 Peterbilt Manual transmission Reefer trailer Position Details 1099 independent contractor position Long-haul / OTR Consistent route and work Family-owned company Approximately 3,400 miles per week If you're an experienced Class A driver looking for consistent OTR work with a smaller, family-owned company, we'd like to hear from you.
