Job Description

E.W. Wylie is seeking a professional Flatbed Truck Driver to haul freight safely and efficiently across North America. In this role, you will operate late-model flatbed equipment, secure and tarp diverse loads, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and comply with all DOT and company safety regulations. You'll coordinate with dispatch, manage on-time pick-ups and deliveries, and maintain accurate electronic logs. E.W. Responsibilities Operate CDL Class A flatbed trucks safely over regional and long-haul routes Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads according to company and DOT standards Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate electronic logs and required DOT documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and loading personnel Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies Manage schedules to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Report equipment issues and coordinate basic maintenance as needed Required Skills CDL Class A driving Flatbed load securement Trip planning DOT regulation compliance Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Electronic logging systems Time management Defensive driving Cargo handling with chains and straps Route navigation and GPS use
