The successful candidate will be capable of operating a variety of equipment, conducting simple maintenance and repair work, and working effectively with others on the team.
Responsibilities:
Work Independently and as part of a team. Inspect equipment to ensure that it is working properly. Be able to read a map and follow written directions. Perform minor repairs and services on heavy equipment. Turn on equipment, prepare it for use, and turn it off when done. Follow all applicable rules and regulations. Communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and residents via phone, radio, or in-person. Keep accurate records of equipment use. While County Road & Bridge work across the entire county as a team, there are two main locations that employees are based from - Marshfield and Fordland.
