Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic waste management team. In this role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste, recyclables, or other materials efficiently and safely. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will ensure timely pickups and deliveries, contributing to our commitment to environmental responsibility and customer satisfaction. This position offers an energetic work environment where safety, precision, and customer service are top priorities. Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks equipped with hydraulic lift systems to load and unload containers at various locations. Load, secure, and unload waste containers or freight with precision, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Manage route driving schedules efficiently to meet pickup and delivery deadlines while maintaining fuel efficiency. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments. Maintain accurate logs of all trips, loads, inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with company policies. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including commercial driving license class B Familiarity with route driving best practices to optimize delivery schedules while ensuring safety on the road. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety protocols and traffic laws. Physical ability to handle heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Prior experience operating roll-off trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles is highly preferred.
