The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating tandem and tri-axle dump trucks and construction site experience. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy duty trucks will be essential in this role. Class A CDL is required. Overtime paid after 40 hours in a given week. Reliable transportation to and from work is required. $17 - $20 per hour DOE Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and asphalt to construction sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with construction teams to understand material needs and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including quantities and delivery locations. Ensure adherence to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment on construction sites. Conduct routine inspections on the dump truck and report any mechanical issues promptly. Required to scrape the apron of truck to ensure no loose debris. Qualifications Ability to utilize time clock and ensure accurate reporting of time worked is required. Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety compliance. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members on-site. Willingness to adapt to changing job requirements and schedules as needed.
