Job Description
The Transport Driver safely provides transportation to patient and other personnel as needed. The driver must have full knowledge of the vehicle in operation, mechanical, electrical and physical and able to demonstrate each. The Transport Driver must be able to demonstrate full knowledge of the area served by transportation and able to respond to each call within a reasonable time. Must have a valid driver's license. The Transport Driver must also be able to work and relate in a professional non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients and visitors. Will be responsible for keeping vehicle and its equipment in a clean and orderly manner, to include washing and waxing when called upon to do so. Will be responsible to report to supervisor any repairs, disabled vehicles or regular maintenance that is needed.
