Job Description
A ZA Construction, LLC Driver /Equipment Operator will perform a variety of task involving physical labor. Must be able to work Monday - Friday (full-time and some overtime) and be available to work on weekends/holidays when necessary. Must be able to travel out of state (transportation provided). Salary is commensurate with experience. Job Summary Duties/Responsibilities Must Possess a Class A CDL license and be prepared for railroad laboring duties (Required) Heavy Haul experience highly preferred Must be able to respond to Mendenhall, MS within 60 minutes of call. Hauling of rail and construction equipment. Transporting over-size load equipment safely. Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the railroad construction requirements and be knowledgeable with Large Scale Heavy Equipment. Loading and unloading all equipment as necessary. Maintain delivery and DOT paperwork, and must be fully compliant with all federal, state, and local laws/regulations - ensure proper permits and driving regulations are followed. Safely drive, operate, and maintain CDL A required vehicles and equipment. All work is outdoors. Must be able work in harsh weather conditions as well as rough terrain. Will need to be able to work at elevated heights from time to time on railroad bridges. Responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of all equipment on site. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Must be highly dependable and available for emergency calls. Must be authorized for employment in the USA. Applicants will be required to submit a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Large Scale Heavy Equipment Operation Experience needed (Dozer, Grapple, Trackhoe, Backhoe, etc) Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
