Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a professional Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to operate trucks and transport freight efficiently and safely. This role involves route driving, load and unload responsibilities, and ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. The CDL Driver will play a vital role in maintaining the company's reputation for reliable and safe transportation services. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across assigned routes Transport freight using various trailer types such as flatbeds and dump trucks. Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Follow all traffic laws and company policies during route driving Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit Ensure proper securing of freight to prevent damage during transit Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements (class A or B) Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery Experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly desirable Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures preferred Familiarity with various truck types such as tractor-trailers and dump trucks is advantageous Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling This position offers an opportunity for experienced drivers to utilize their skills in a dynamic environment while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across routes.
