ROBINSONVILLE

Mississippi 38664. The Scale House Attendant serves as the first point of contact for customers depositing waste at a Waste Management Facility; calculates payments, checks loads, and ensures the safety of the customer and other employees through observation of safety rules and regulations This is a temporary to permanent role. Candidates must have own transportation to go between two site locations (25 miles apart). Not on the same day. Might be two days at one, two days at other. Currently this is 32 hours a week but when hired will turn into a 40-hour work week

Pay Rate:

$16.00/HR. Job Duties for

Scale Attendant:

Be able to Scale in/out 3rd party customers. Be able to manage card transactions. Be able to run end-of-day reports as required. Prior customer service experience preferred

Requirements:

MUST HAVE COMPUTER SKILLED EXPERIENCE AND THE ABILITY TO MOVE QUICKLY AND LIFT UP TO 50 LBS.

Serves as the first point of contact for customers depositing waste at a waste facility Must be able to work outside in all-weather elements Calculates payments Checks load and ensures the safety of the customer and other employees through observation of safety rules and regulations. Greets customers, directs customers and other traffic, and answers questions accurately. Correctly calculates payments for customers. Ensures that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material. Ensure that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Provides general upkeep of the Scale House. Completes all administrative tasks including regular filing and completes required reports. Performs other duties as assigned, including data entry and minor customer service responsibilities.
