Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dedicated Truck Driver, specializing in transporting freight from Mississippi to Georgia two days a week. This role offers a focused, consistent schedule that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and professionalism. As a key player in our logistics network, you will operate 26 ft straight box truck equipped for non hazardous cargo ensuring timely and secure deliveries while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of service and safety on every route. Duties Safely operate straight box trucks with across over-the-road (OTR) routes from Mississippi to Use GPS navigation systems to plan and follow optimal routes, ensuring on-time deliveries Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, handling logistics cargo with precision and care Transport non hazardous materials in compliance with our company policies and procedures and the Department of Transportation (DOT) standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records following FMCSA regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered during transit Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with 26 ft straight box truck Valid driver's license with F endorsements Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT regulations, and hazardous materials handling Skilled in manual transmission driving and manual handling of freight equipment Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Experience with freight loading/unloading, truck loading/unloading procedures, and logistics cargo handling Strong understanding of safety protocols related to dangerous goods and hazardous materials transportation Embark on a rewarding driving career that values safety, professionalism, and consistency.
