Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Class A CDL Truck Driver and take the wheel of our tractor-trailers to deliver freight across local routes. This is a day driving posistion and you will be home every night. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in commercial truck driving while ensuring safe, timely deliveries. You'll be responsible for operating grain trailers and flat beds, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Drive a variety of trailers including grain trailer's and flat beds Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes for timely deliveries across regional or national destinations Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or truck loading equipment while adhering to safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and compliance with all trucking regulations Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Valid TWIC card. 3 years' experience. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various trailer types such as refrigerated, flatbed, or tanker. Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailer operations Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling procedures Ability to operate GPS navigation systems effectively for route planning and navigation Experience with truck loading/unloading processes and manual handling techniques Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling and freight security protocols Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
