Job Description
Overview We are seeking a shop hand/hot shot driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assistance in maintaining vehicles, trailers, and the shop itself as well as transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, as well as the ability to navigate various routes effectively. Duties Execute route driving for the timely delivery to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Assisting in maintenance of vehicles and trailers Maintaining shop Experience Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with operating tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks is advantageous. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is not required however, CDL drivers will have advantages in pay.
