This postion will be located in Bayboro, NC The Company With more than 40 locations along the eastern seaboard in the United States, Meherrin Agricultural and Chemical Company is a leading provider of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers to farmers. Job Purpose Safely and efficiently transport Dry and Liquid Fertilizer while obeying all Federal, State, and Local Traffic Laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver Dry Fertilizer on tenders to customer fields Deliver Liquid Fertilizer via tankers Pickup and deliver liquid and dry fertilizer to Coolidge Yard Able to determine delivery location via pins Compile Truck Driving IFTA and Weekly Haul Log Information Assist in Warehouse as needed Assist in chemical and seed deliveries as needed Performs preventive maintenance on Semi and Equipment Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CDL Class A Endorsement with Tanker Endorsement HazMat preferred Must be able to pass DOT Medical Exam Safety mindset Benefits Health Insurance Life Insurance Disability Vision Dental Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Teladoc 401K Match Paid Vacation and Personal Days Paid Holidays Bereavement Leave Jury Duty Leave Application Process This job is contingent upon satisfactory completion of reference checks, education verification, pre-employment drug screening, and a background history check.
