In this energetic role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport freight efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, truck loading and unloading, and route driving will be pivotal in maintaining our reputation for reliability. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers across various OTR routes, including refrigerated trailers, and hazardous materials transport. Navigate using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols during transit and delivery. Manage delivery driving tasks by executing route driving plans accurately while maintaining communication with dispatch teams. Handle logistics cargo handling tasks such as freight inspection, documentation, and ensuring proper load securement for all goods. Maintain accurate records of driving hours, inspections, delivery logs, and incident reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred. Proven experience in over-the-road (OTR) driving routes involving freight transportation across long distances. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials (If Needed) transportation is highly desirable. Knowledge of DOT regulations, hazard materials regulations, and safety standards related to truck driving and freight handling. Strong navigation skills using GPS systems; excellent route planning abilities for efficient deliveries. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks required for load & unload procedures; capable of lifting heavy cargo safely. - If Needed) Join us in delivering excellence on every mile!
