Roll-Off Truck Driver (CDL Class A or B)
Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded Roll-Off Truck Driver with a CDL Class A or B license to join our team. This role involves operating roll-off trucks to deliver, exchange, and pick up open-top dumpsters and containers at customer sites, job sites, and disposal facilities. The ideal candidate has strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while following all DOT and safety regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate a roll-off truck to transport, deliver, and pick up waste containers and dumpsters. Follow assigned daily routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient service. Inspect containers before and after service; secure loads and apply tarps in compliance with DOT regulations. Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Complete all required route logs, disposal tickets, and service documentation accurately. Communicate professionally and courteously with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and safety standards. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle and equipment. Assist with other duties as needed to support operations.
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record. Previous roll-off truck or commercial driving experience required. Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety compliance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and securing loads. Strong communication and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor. Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
