Job Description

Position Summary Barrier Fencing Supply Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Fencing Laborer to assist with the manufacturing, preparation, loading, unloading, and handling of fencing materials and products. This position supports warehouse operations, production activities, and customer service by ensuring fencing products are accurately prepared, safely handled, and delivered in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and teamwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of fencing products and components. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and customer vehicles using proper safety procedures. Deliver materials when applicable. Prepare and stage fencing materials for customer pickup and delivery. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary). Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling and organization. Assist customers with loading materials and answering basic product questions. Perform general warehouse and yard maintenance, including cleaning and organizing work areas. Inspect materials and finished products for quality and report defects or shortages. Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times. Support production, warehouse, and delivery teams as needed. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions when handling materials and yard operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous construction, fencing, warehouse, manufacturing, or labor experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift experience is a plus. Must be able to read tape measure Valid driver's license. Must be able to drive with trailer attached.( we will train) Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of fencing materials and equipment. Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and outdoor yard environments. Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks throughout scheduled shifts.
