In this energetic role, you'll be the backbone of our transportation operations, delivering freight efficiently and safely across various destinations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual or automatic transmissions across local and regional OTR routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing delivery schedules and customer expectations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation in compliance with federal regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license; experience manual transmission required Ability to drive route driving efficiently while maintaining safety standards Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations Physical ability to handle freight loads and perform vehicle inspections as needed This is a 1099 employee opportunity offering .50 cents per mile.
