Driver

Driver Position (Part-Time), potential applicants must have a valid NC drivers license and pass pre employment drug screening. The driver operates a manual side/rear loading garbage truck on an assigned route. Employee completes daily pre and post trip checks. Employee uses in truck technology to navigate from stop to stop on route and services customers trash container. Manual trucks require driver to move container to truck for dumping via hydraulic cart tipper. Must be a team player, courteous, able to use a cell phone and/or tablet and above all be a safe and responsible driver. Our business is built on customer service and often times the driver is only employee interaction our customers have so you must be customer focused. Routes are run in all weather conditions as long as roads are safe, if days are missed due to inclement weather or holidays additional work days may be required that deviate from normal schedule. Must be able and willing to enter and exit the truck multiple times daily. Steady work in an industry that is guaranteed to be there, employee will have opportunity to advance to full time employment with route growth. Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Safety equipment provided Application Question(s): Routes start as early as 5am, can you make it to work at that time? Are you willing to enter and exit the truck multiple times per day to retrieve the loaded trash carts if assigned to a manual side or rear loader? All trucks have a hydraulic arm or tipper to dump the cart, however you may have to move the cart weighing 50-100 lbs, can you physically complete this task? When are you available to start work? Why do you wish to leave your current employer? Are you willing to accept a starting salary as posted? You will be trained by our route supervisor, do you have a problem working with others?
