Job Description
Heritage-Crystal Clean LLC seeks a Route Driver CDL Class B to join our Transportation & Logistics team in the waste management industry. In this sales-and-service focused role, you will safely operate a CDL B truck to pick up used oil, parts washers, and hazardous/non-hazardous waste from small and mid-sized customers. You'll manage routes, maintain accurate DOT/EPA documentation, and build strong customer relationships while promoting Crystal Clean's environmental services. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class B service truck on assigned routes to commercial and industrial customers Transport and pick up used oil, parts washers, and hazardous/non-hazardous waste in compliance with DOT and EPA regulations Load, secure, and unload containers and materials using proper safety procedures and material handling equipment Complete required route paperwork, manifests, logs, and electronic records accurately and on time Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Provide professional, courteous customer service and resolve basic service issues on-site Promote Heritage-Crystal Clean services and products to grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities Follow all company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Communicate route status, incidents, and customer needs to dispatch and management Maintain a clean, organized truck and comply with all company, state, and federal transportation regulations Required Skills CDL Class B driving DOT regulations compliance Hazardous materials handling Tanker and box truck operation EPA and environmental compliance basics Logbook and ELD usage Load securement Customer service Route planning and navigation Basic sales and account servicing
