Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in manual and automatic transmission driving and possess a solid background in commercial driving. Duties Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Navigate assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including time, materials transported, and mileage. Collaborate with site managers to coordinate delivery schedules and material needs. Assist with minor maintenance tasks on the truck as needed. Ensure cleanliness of the truck both inside and out. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience driving dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other heavy vehicles is preferred. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Previous delivery driver experience is beneficial. Strong understanding of route driving principles and local traffic regulations. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
