Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including Hopper Bottoms across designated routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and ensure efficient transportation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate mileage logs of driving, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during transit. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving. Familiarity with Hopper Bottom Trailers Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles confidently. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading. Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation accuracy. Strong manual handling skills for load & unload operations involving freight or cargo handling. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
