Contrans Flatbed USA seeks a professional CDL A Truck Driver to haul flatbed freight across regional and OTR lanes. Operate late model equipment while safely transporting industrial and commercial loads, performing proper load securement and inspections. Responsibilities Operate CDL A tractor trailer to haul flatbed freight safely and efficiently Secure and tarp loads per company and DOT regulations Conduct pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections of truck and trailer Maintain compliance with DOT hours of service and all safety policies Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status Complete required logs, ELD entries, and delivery documentation accurately Adhere to customer service standards at pickup and delivery locations Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly Required Skills CDL A truck operation Flatbed load securement Tarping and chaining DOT safety and compliance Hours of service and ELD use Pre trip and post trip inspections Route planning and time management Cargo handling and weight distribution Defensive driving Basic equipment troubleshooting
