In this position, you will operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklift-equipped vehicles. Your expertise in manual transmission and route driving will ensure timely and safe deliveries across diverse freight types. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms Transport various cargo types including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other freight safely and securely Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Manage route driving schedules effectively to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in compliance with company policies Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during trips Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid CDL A license Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently Experience driving different types of trucks such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred Delivery driver experience with a focus on load & unload procedures and route management Familiarity with freight handling equipment like forklifts is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement Excellent navigation skills for route planning and execution in various geographic areas Embark on a rewarding career that combines skillful driving with the satisfaction of delivering essential goods!
