Full Job Description Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical knowledge and superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
• Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment
• Perform basic automotive repair tasks, such as changing tires or jump-starting batteries
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with vehicles
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their safety
• Maintain accurate records of all towed vehicles, including location and condition
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the tow truck
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Handle conflicts or difficult situations in a professional and calm manner

Experience:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure vehicles onto the wrecker or rollback
• Basic automotive repair skills and mechanical knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
