Job Description

The phone already rings. We need someone to answer it. We put drivers into trucks they own outright in as little as 12 months. Word gets around, and the calls come in. What we need is someone who can work them fast and get drivers seated. Two companies, one desk Transport Capital Group leases trucks to drivers on a path to ownership — no money down, no credit check, no balloon payments. We're an equipment lessor, not a carrier, so our drivers pick who they haul for and never put the truck at risk by switching carriers. That's the pitch, and it's a good one, because most lease-purchase programs hold the truck hostage to the dispatcher. ELS Freight is our carrier side — a Midwest open-deck operation running heavy steel on multi-axle flatbeds. Company drivers, lease-purchase, and owner-operators. You'll recruit for both. What this job actually is You'll be working two different kinds of calls, and they need different things from you. TCG callers already know we lease trucks — that's why they called. Your job is selling them on the program, walking them through the payment and the payoff honestly, and making sure they're someone we want in one of our trucks. ELS callers need more work. You'll screen them against our hire requirements and place them in the right seat — company, lease-purchase, or owner-operator — depending on what they've got and what they want. A good share of it won't start with a call at all. Drivers message us on Facebook and ask questions in the comments before they'll pick up the phone, and those are real leads — they just don't look like it yet. What you won't be doing is cold lead-chasing. The interest is already there. Your job is turning it into seated drivers. What you'll do Work inbound leads fast. Speed to first contact decides most of these. Answer Facebook messages and comments the same day. Plenty of drivers ask their first questions in a DM, and a reply that sits for two days is a driver who called someone else. Sell TCG's lease-purchase program to drivers who call in already interested, and confirm they're a viable candidate for us Screen ELS leads and place them in the right seat: ◦ Company driver — 27% of line haul, W-2, health benefits available ◦ Lease purchase — 75% of line haul plus 100% of fuel surcharge, 1099 ◦ Owner-operator — 75% of line haul plus 100% of fuel surcharge, 1099, tag program and trailer lease available Manage ELS applications through Tenstreet and TCG leads through our recruiting pipeline Coordinate onboarding and get drivers to their first load Stay in touch through the first 90 days and flag problems early Run our Facebook pages and recruiting ads — post consistently, shoot simple driver content on your phone, and track what actually produces applications Keep the comment sections worth reading. Drivers judge us by how we answer questions in public. What we're looking for Experience recruiting drivers, or dispatch / driver-manager work where you dealt with drivers all day This is a phone job. You should like the phone. Able to walk a driver through a settlement and a lease payment line by line, without guessing at the numbers Sound judgment on who belongs in one of our trucks and who doesn't Organized enough to run 40+ active candidates without losing anyone Comfortable shooting and posting basic content Writes quick, clear replies in Messenger and comments — plain and human, not copy-and-paste Nice to have Tenstreet experience Lease-purchase or owner-operator program background Flatbed, open deck, or steel hauling familiarity Existing driver network in the Midwest or Southeast Meta Ads Manager experience Bilingual (English / Spanish) Pay $50,000 base plus commission on every driver you seat. Commission is uncapped and weighted toward drivers who stay — the bigger portion pays at 90 and 180 days. Rates vary by placement type.
Realistic totals:
around $80,000 at 12 placements a month, $100,000 at 20, and more above that. We buy trucks as fast as we can fill them, so there's no ceiling we'll impose on you.
