Key Duties and Responsibilities Drive and operate a water truck safely on and off the project sites Pre and Post Trip inspection of the truck in compliance with DOT regulations Fuel and grease truck daily Perform tasks involving filling, hauling, and spraying water on a project jobsite Spraying water by hand with a hose Other duties as assigned including helping crews Qualifications Class A CDL License Current Medical Card Air Brake endorsement required 2+ year's construction experience Knowledgeable of DOT regulations Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors Communication and interpersonal skills are a must Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize Working Conditions Travel - The position is located in either Shelby NC area or the Charlotte, NC area, with the potential of other locations throughout the Eastern Region. Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects.
